Do I have to pay import-duty
Customers may be liable to pay import taxes imposed by their government upon arrival of their goods. This differs from country to
country and Opals World Wide has no control over which taxes may be charged. In the case of a refund, the customer must bear all
costs associated with import taxes as it is not possible for Opals World Wide to refund this amount or other amounts associated
with importing goods. Customers should research their country's import tax policies prior to making a purchase.

Prices of goods shown on our website are exclusive of GST (Australia's Goods & Services Tax). If you are an overseas customer,
you do not need to pay this tax. Exported goods are tax-free and not subject to Australia's GST. Customers who reside in Australia
however will be charged this tax at the rate of ten per cent and the tax will be added to your order.
How does the conversion work for the amount shown in US dollars? At the time of payment, we convert the amount from US dollars to Australian dollars using the following webpage: http://finance.yahoo.com/currency. Depending at the conversion rate at time of transaction entering your country, the amount might be slightly different to the agreed amount in US dollars. The difference will always be minor and depending on the rate movements, to the customers advantage or disadvantage. Please note: Some banks do charge a conversion-fee.
